Saturday, November 24, at the first vespers of the Solemnity of Christ the King of the Universe, feast of the Kingdom and of the Divine Will, the Association Luisa Piccarreta welcomed the invitation to participate in the Jubilee of Movements and ecclesial realities present at Corato. This event is part of the Jubilee celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the presence of the Dominican friars in Corato, which began on 22 February with the opening of the Holy Door and which will end on 27 December.

You cannot love God without loving your brothers; you cannot be in communion with God without being so in the Church, and we cannot be good Christians if we are not together with those who seek to follow the Lord Jesus, as one single people, one single body, and this is the Church”. (Pope Francis)

Although we are engaged in different fields and under different denominations, crossing the Holy Door, all together we acknowledged that we are moved by the same Spirit, called to commit ourselves for a single purpose: the building of the Kingdom of God in us and among us. Hence the exhortation of the zonal vicar, don Peppino Lobascio, to welcome with gratitude the charisms that the Holy Spirit does not cease to lavish and not to forget that every charism is given for the common good, that is for the benefit of the whole Church.

Being one in Christ Jesus ... The solemnity of Christ the King reminds us of this

“My Love is so great that I come to remain with you so that we may live together with one, single Will; with one, single Love….”. (The Appeal of the Divine King in the Kingdom of the Divine Will)

Oh Jesus,  we too want to sing the praises of your inextinguishable and interminable Love with one, single Will; with one, single Love.

Your Love issued us, and your same Love

calls us back into Yourself, with a vertiginous race,

to say to You: “We love You, we love You”;

we want the Kingdom of your Will on earth!
