The fame of holiness of the Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta spread beyond Corato, in other Italian cities and European countries thanks to those who had known her and proposed the writings.
She became particularly popular in the United States and in Central America, initially by Italian immigrants (50s and 60s) and, later, by some of the believers who had known her Spirituality in their stays in Italy (from the 70s to today).
