Throughout the Church, in every corner of the world, the joyful proclamation of Easter resounds: Jesus, the Crucified, is not here—He has risen! (Mt 28:5–6)
Jesus, Incarnate Love, died on the cross for our sins, but the Father raised Him, and He lives forever in our midst. In Him, love has conquered hatred, life has overcome death, and light has dispelled darkness.
“My Resurrection is the true sun that fittingly glorifies my Humanity: it is the sun of the Catholic religion, the true glory of every Christian. Without the Resurrection, it would have been like the sky without the sun, without warmth and without life” (Luisa Piccarreta – Diary, April 15, 1919).
It is from the Resurrection that everything comes to life and is continually renewed. Christ’s victory over death does not mark merely a moment in history, but inaugurates a new reality capable of transforming existence. He has risen not to remain a memory in the hearts of His disciples, but so that He Himself may live in us, and in Him we may already anticipate the joy of eternal life.
Easter invites us to let ourselves be enveloped by the light of the Risen One, so that it may illuminate every thought, every word, every gesture of our daily life. Even the simplest act carried out in the Divine Will becomes a participation in divine glory and carries within it a seed of eternity.
To “rise again,” for us, means to rediscover what humanity lost through sin: full communion with God, participation in His life, and the ability to love with His own love. Every action lived in this dimension spreads light and hope all around.
In a time marked by wars, divisions, and suffering, the victory of the Risen Christ calls us to peace. We are invited to be authentic witnesses, bringing everywhere signs of mercy, forgiveness, and trust.
The Risen Christ walks with us and invites us to remain united to Him, for only in His love can we discover the fullness of our vocation.
Wishing you a peaceful and holy Easter!
