The Finding of Jesus in the Temple
After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers…When his parents saw him, they were astonished. His mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.” “Why were you searching for me?” he asked. “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?” (Luke 2:46-49)
Along the way I met Mary
in search of His Son God
in long but light steps
She flew over the earth
like feathers did not touch it
She found Jesus on the third day
and the Divine Will adored
I followed Her: I heard the word that She kept in her heart.
With Him I will take care of the Father
until the third day I find Him resurrected.
If you want to find Jesus, you have to walk in Mary's footsteps. Mary,‘full of grace', the ‘Handmaid of the Lord', began her uninterrupted journey since she pronounced her Fiat Mihi as an answer to the Angel who greeted Her: "Hail the Lord is with Thee" (Lk. 1,28).
“The most pleasing and most consoling words for my Mother are: ‘Dominus Tecum’ [‘The Lord is with Thee’]. In fact, as soon as they were pronounced by the Archangel, She felt the whole of the Divine Being being communicated to Her”. (Jesus to Luisa)
Mary's footsteps walk the streets down here even after her Assumption into Heaven, so that mankind may take care, above all, of the Father's matters following the example of Jesus who walked listening to what the Father asked of Him. "I have not spoken on My own, but the Father who sent Me has commanded Me what to say" (Jn 12:49).
As we walk with our Heavenly Mother, we discover her greatness in her smallness: "Her will never entered into Her as acting, but always my Eternal Will; and this not only kept Her little, beautiful, fresh, as She had come out of Us, but made Her the greatest of all”. We should contemplate Mary in her essence of holiness in order to reflect ourselves in her soul, which is a crystalline well. The evangelist Matthew says (6:33): "Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. In fact, walking with Mary is like walking with God, the things of the earth acquire a supernatural aspect and earthly matters give way to those of God.
When we walk with Mary, man's insides take strength in God, our eyes spread through creation and we acquire the divine taste that the Lord has placed in every particle of the universe.
When the soul exposes itself to the Sun of Divine Will, every human slag is burned. Everything happens gradually according to the uninterrupted Marian path.
When we walk with Mary, we do not eliminate the Cross, but, as a gift, we rediscover its Light and its value which, in God's Will, opens the doors of the Kingdom. Mary is ready to walk with the creature and to guide her 'dry feet' (Ex 14:22). It happens that the stormy sea of the human will turns into a wall with Mary's presence, letting the creature pass without muddying her and preventing the enemy from reaching her.
To find Jesus hidden in the temple of our soul through Mary means to reconnect ourselves to the chain of Her Acts which, by virtue of the fusion in the Divine Will, have stretched and widened enough to generate divine Holiness, the very Holiness of Jesus.
Everything brings us back to Mary's Fiat Mihi: "Let it be done unto me according to thy Word" that is, according to Thy Will. Also Jesus’ reply in Luke's Gospel is highly significant: “How is it that you sought me?
Now let us give the word to St. John Paul II: “Referring to his divine origin, Jesus does not so much want to state that the temple, his Father's house, is the natural “place” for his presence, as that he must be concerned about all that regards his Father and his plan. He means to stress that his Father's will is the only norm requiring his obedience”. (Catechesis by Pope John Paul II on Mary)
Mary's steps lead the soul throughout the universe and teach how to place in it the "I love you of God" for all that He has created. In the same way, Luisa the servant of God, a little one, wants to make us participate in her journeys in creation under Mary's guide:
‘Sovereign Queen, I come to hide my little love in the great sea of your love, my adoration toward God in the immense ocean of yours. I hide my thanksgivings in the sea of yours; I hide my supplications, my sighs, my tears and pains in the sea of yours, so that my sea of love and yours may be one, my adoration and yours may be one, my thanksgivings may acquire the vastness of your own expanses; my supplications, tears and pains may become one single sea with yours, so that I too may have my seas of love, of adoration, etc. And just as your Sovereign Height impetrated with this the longed for Redeemer, so I too may present myself before the Divine Majesty with all these seas, in order to ask, to beseech – to implore the Kingdom of the Supreme Fiat’.
The 'as in Heaven so on earth' urges us not to be happy with walking with Mary only on earth. So, in spirit, with the heart and immersed in the Divine Will, let us reserve contemplative spaces to walk with Mary also in Heaven.
Sovereign Queen, living in the Divine Will,
I ask for Your Holy Blessing, for myself and for all.
May Your Blessing be the Celestial Dew which descends upon sinners to convert them,
upon the afflicted to console them.
upon the purging souls and extinguish the fire that burns them.
May Your Maternal Blessing be Pledge of Salvation for all souls. Amen (Luisa)
